Review: Very relaxing and stunning venue.

We were extremely looking forward to try this restaurant as we have heard so many good reviews about it. 

 

The old "Il Faro" was almost my second home when I used to live on The Palm, loved this place and Tagomago is the best replacement for it. From Rikas Hospitality Group (same group of Mimi Kakushi, Lana Lusa, La Cantine du Faubourg, Twiggy, Kyma beach and more, brought a more affordable restaurant in town but as sophisticated as the other concepts.

 

The staff was very approachable making me feel like home with a lot of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American members. The décor brought us to life the "chiringuito" concept, with private beach access, restaurant and bar area.

Between sangria, paella and churros, this Iberian restaurant combines all the qualities of a good Spanish venue.

 

Perfect for families, group of friends or even a romantic outing, as the music is lively but not too loud, you can enjoy sundowners by the bar with a light breeze from the sea, at least until the weather allows.

 

Surprisingly, this venue is also planning to build a platform with a pool, for adults only, extending the restaurant area and this project is planned to be finalized in one and half years (2024). It's a very bold project and investment, yet very curious to see how it will look like when the full project will be completed.

Beach from 10am until sunset

Weekdays AED 200 per person ( AED 100 redeemable on F&B)
Weekend AED 250 per person (non-redeemable on F&B)

Recommendations:

- Pan con tomato, toasted bread, grated tomato, garlic

- Bluefin tuna carpaccio - Unbelievable, super delicious

- Garlic prawns

- Patatas bravas, aioli, spicy sauce

- Spicy beef chorizo croquetas

- Octopus, baby potatoes, paprika mayo

Note: we couldn't eat anymore :D but definitely on our "to try" list, Grilled Spanish beef striploin 35 days aged 350g* and Paella o Fideua.
